My Top 5 Black Friday Travel “Must Haves”

FILED IN: Top 5, Uncategorized

Yup, yet another Black Friday email BUT trust me when I say some of these items are the difference between travel bliss and travel disaster. Finding yourself in a foreign country without the right adapter, or a long-haul flight with spotty sleep. These are a few of the tried and true travel items that will make you a travel pro, and if you aren’t traveling but have an avid jetsetter to shop for, trust me…they will LOVE these items.

Compression Packing Cubes

Confessions of an over-packer here!!! Why yes, I do travel all over the world but no matter where I go or how long I’m there I can’t help but grab that one last pair of pants, or that dress I won’t ever wear. Enter compression packing cubes. Not only do they keep your suitcase organized (I have one for pants, one for shirts, dresses, intimates, etc.) but it also compresses these items so you can fit MORE into your suitcase. Priceless for a well-stocked suitcase like mine. I have been using these Bagail ones from Amazon for a few years and they have held up well, plus they are such a great price point to grab a few more here and there. They are a perfect gift for the traveler in your life who can never quite keep their suitcase under the 50lb limit!

World Travel Adapter

I’m an Apple geek for sure. I just love how all my devices connect and the format is simple and clean. It is no different when I travel internationally. I wanted to go ahead and just get as many adapters as I could straight out of the gate instead of trying to fish and search google reviews for individual ones online. I love the Apple World Travel Adapter Kit. It’s been a lifesaver. No matter what device we are charging we know it’s going to be safe and effective.

Small Cosmetic Bag with Mini Beauty Products

Long-Haul flights, red-eyes, heck…even those short sprints can be really tiring. The air is dry, the space is limited. I have a small routine for flights that help me from feeling like a vacuum-sealed sardine. Frequent walks to/from the bathroom and a small cosmetic case in my under-the-seat storage. I fill it with moisturizer, hand lotion, a facial spray, and anything else that can help me feel human. P.S. I love the Drunk Elephant “The Littles” kit for just this purpose.

Trtl Pillow

There is a reason it’s taking the internet by storm. I am SO over the days of carting around a big uncomfortable travel pillow. It is always in the way and is it really even comfortable, they make me so hot and sweaty when I use them. We purchased a family pack of Trtl pillows for our trip to London and it was a game changer. I am able to slide them into my carry-on and they offer so much comfort and support.

Airpods

I mean, do I really need to say anything else? I’d be lost without my AirPods while in flight. If you like to watch the in-flight entertainment be sure to grab an adapter so you can wear your own instead of those uncomfortable free ones.
